The UW Health Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Advisory Council supports professional advancement, recognition, provider wellness, and professional networking for APPs across UW Health. They influence policy, provide expertise, and serve as a peer resource. Earlier this year, Kristin Casey, NP, nurse practitioner in the Division of Hematology, Oncology, Transplant, and Cellular Therapy, was appointed to the UW Health APP Advisory Council for a three-year term. Alida Yee, NP, nurse practitioner in the Division of Cardiology, is also a member of the council. Their service ensures that pediatrics-related issues are represented in this important forum.
