Jo Wilson leads UW membership at North American Immuno-Hematology Clinical Education & Research Consortium

DR. Jo WilsonThe Department of Pediatrics recently became an institutional member of the North American Immuno-Hematology Clinical Education & Research Consortium (NICER). Its mission is to provide a collaborative multidisciplinary environment to advance the education, clinical care, and research involving pediatric and adult patients with known or suspected genetically driven disorders of blood and immunity.​​ Our institutional PI is Jo Wilson, MD, (pictured), assistant professor, Division of Allergy, Immunology, and Rheumatology, who diagnoses and treats children with a wide array of food and drug allergies and immunologic disorders such as asthma and atopic dermatitis. Our co-PI is Christine Seroogy, MD, professor, Division of Allergy, Immunology, and Rheumatology, whose research is aimed at characterizing early life immune development using unique birth cohorts and multi-omic technologies.
