Title: Advancing the Value Proposition of Adult Immunization Through Effective Implementation
Session Overview:
The expansion of opportunities for adult vaccine-preventable diseases has been one of the more exciting changes in public health over the past few decades, but unfortunately adult immunization rates lag far behind children and adolescents. All healthcare providers can serve as advocates to advance adult immunizations – both to protect them as individuals and to improve overall community immunity, which is important in protecting the most vulnerable members of society. In addition, providers are adults themselves, and due to the constant changes sadly often lag behind on routinely recommended vaccines!

Series Overview: Pediatric Grand Rounds is a weekly multidisciplinary and interprofessional conference designed to improve a participant’s ability to practice pediatric medicine, including patient care, conducting healthcare research, providing medical education, addressing public health, and implementing innovation.
Target Audience: MD/DO, RN, APRN, Residents, Fellows, and other Trainees.

- Describe new scientific advances and trends in pediatric medicine that may be translatable and impact future patient care
