Caleb Kitcho, MD, clinical instructor, Division of Critical Care, received an Honorable Mention in Academic Medicine’s 2025 Call for Letters to the Editor from Trainees, themed “The Moment I Knew.” His reflective piece, “Minutes, Not Months: The Moment I Knew,” shares a pivotal experience in the pediatric intensive care unit that affirmed his decision to pursue pediatric critical care. Honorees will be recognized in the December 2025 issue of Academic Medicine.
