The major focus of the Eldridge laboratory involves integrative cardiopulmonary physiology and pathophysiology. Of particular interest are cardiopulmonary interactions in congenital and acquired lung disease (congenital diaphragmatic hernia, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, asthma, hepatopulmonary syndrome and, bronchiolitis obliterans).
