Dr. Marlowe Eldridge Receives National Institutes of Health Research Award

Marlowe Eldridge, MD, is a recent recipient of a National Institutes of Health, National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute research project grant (R01). The award is anticipated to be $250,000 in direct costs/year over five years. Dr. Eldridge’s submission is entitled, “Comprehensive Characterization of Intrapulmonary Arteriovenous Pathways in Health.”

The goal of this project is to better define the function regulation and consequences of newly identified lung blood vessels in health and disease.
