Schwartz Center Rounds – Mommy Dearest?

We praise and admire parents and families who present as bright, educated and up to date with their child’s illness. Sometimes the more we get to know families, things don’t quite add up… something doesn’t seem quite right.  Our panel will talk about the strong emotions that this can evoke as well as professional experiences with factitious disorder and how that can impact us personally, professional and leave us feeling unsettled.
