DESCRIPTION:Date: Thursday\, April 30\, 2026 \nTime: 7:30-8:30 a.m. CT via Zoom \nZoom Link \nTitle: Medical-Legal Partnership in Academic Pediatric Health Centers: Laying the Groundwork for Impactful Collaboration \nSession Overview: \nUnmet legal needs harm health outcomes\, limit access to care\, and drive health disparities and inequities for low-income pediatric populations. Medical-legal partnerships (MLPs) are collaborative care models designed to partner lawyers with front-line healthcare workers to meaningfully address root-causes behind these interwoven issues. In this lecture\, we will introduce our inter-professional audience to the MLP model and summarize the evidence base for MLP in pediatric medicine.
