DESCRIPTION:Date: Tuesday\, March 18\, 2025 \nTime: 12:15-1 p.m. CST via Zoom \nZoom Link \nTitle: Assessment and Management of Pediatric Self-Harm and Suicidal Ideation in Primary Care \nSession Overview:  This presentation will provide an overview of steps that primary care providers can take when a child or teen presents with safety concerns (self-harm or SI). This will include assessment (including determining when to send to the ER for further evaluation)\, safety planning\, brief in-office interventions\, documentation\, and follow-up care. There will also be a brief overview of effective outpatient therapies (e.g.\, individual DBT\, group therapy) for addressing safety concerns in pediatric populations. \nSpeaker: Hannah R.
