Language Matters \nSession Overview: Join three family faculty to hear stories focused on the importance of language in the care of children with medical complexity and/or disability. These stories will illustrate how language can dehumanize and further fragment systems of care. Families will present an aspect of their “case” as a story and then offer strategies to develop knowledge\, skills and abilities to perform\, or partner in\, the essential activities of care of children with disabilities and/or medical complexity. \nTarget Audience: MD/DOs\, Nurses\, APRNs\, PAs\, Trainees including Residents\, Fellows\, Medical Students.
