For children with disabilities\, expectations are chronically low and often fueled by lack of knowledge\, assumptions and apathy. One effective tool to combat these expectations and biases is to form partnerships between clinicians and families. Families will present an aspect of their “case” as a story and then offer strategies to develop knowledge\, skills and abilities to perform\, or partner in\, the essential activities of care of children with disabilities and/or medical complexity. \nTarget Audience: MD/DOs\, Nurses\, APRNs\, PAs\, Trainees including Residents\, Fellows\, Medical Students.
