DESCRIPTION:Date: Wednesday\, December 18\, 2024 \nTime: 1–2:30 p.m. \nWhere:  University Hospital-Department of Pediatrics: H6/240 \nTitle: Office Hours / Writing Session \nLed by: Dr. Nikki St Clair & Dr. Sush Srinivasan \n\nMedical Education Scholars in Pediatrics (MESP) is a monthly Regularly Scheduled Series for faculty and trainees to conduct research in medical education\, viewing medical education as a primary focus for academic scholarship. These sessions are intended to foster collaboration and disseminate knowledge to promote scholarship in medical education. Success will be measured by the quantity of scholarly output in medical education per academic year and number of faculty seeking or successfully completing promotion with Education as a primary or secondary focus. \nMESP is open to all members of the Department of Pediatrics.  \n  \nACCREDITATION\nAccreditation Statement \n\n\n\n\nIn support of improving patient care\, the University of Wisconsin–Madison ICEP is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME)\, the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE)\, and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.\n\n\n\nCredit Designation Statements \nAmerican Medical Association (AMA) \nThe University of Wisconsin–Madison ICEP designates this live activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. \nContinuing Education Units \nThe University of Wisconsin–Madison ICEP\, as a member of the University Professional & Continuing Education Association (UPCEA)\, authorizes this program for 0.1 continuing education units (CEUs) or 1 hour.
