Outstanding learning and teaching depends on strong collaborations. That’s why we invite you to help us offer exceptional professional development opportunities for health care providers throughout UW and the region.
Speakers come from our department, the UW campus, or institutions across the nation to address important topics in pediatric care.
Recent speakers have included:
- Holmes Morton, MD, a pediatric geneticist, Albert Schweitzer Prize for Humanitarianism winner, MacArthur fellow, and Clinic for Special Children founder
- Albert Hergenroeder, MD, the Chief of Adolescent and Sports Medicine at Texas Children’s Hospital and an expert on youth transition into adult health care
- Karen Timberlake, JD, UW Population Health Institute director, former secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, and an expert on public health and health policy
- Juan Boriosi, MD, a UW Health pediatric intensivist with a clinical research program in pediatric critical care medicine
If you are interested in participating as a learner, teacher, or course director in any of our programs, or if you would like to join the Department of Pediatrics CME Oversight Committee, drop us a line at cme [at] pediatrics [dot] wisc [dot] edu.
