Applications are accepted through Electronic Residency Application Service (ERASĀ®). All applicants must participate in the National Residency Matching Program (NRMPĀ®). Our fellowship offers one new fellow position per academic year.

To be considered for a UW Pediatric Infectious Diseases fellowship position, you must be a:

We encourage second- and third-year fellows to seek support through an NIH training grant; therefore, we require extra consideration when accepting applicants who are on a visa of any type. For more information regarding this policy, visit and click on “Citizenship.”

Application Materials Required

  • ERAS application
  • Curriculum vitae
  • Personal statement
  • 3 letters of recommendation, including one from your current program director


Upon receipt of all application material, selected candidates will be contacted to arrange interviews. Interviews are conducted over a Monday and Tuesday in September and October.
