Division Highlights - Endocrinology & Diabetes
The Division of Endocrinology and Diabetes provides state-of-the-art medical care through four multidisciplinary clinics: diabetes, endocrinology, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and pediatric fitness.
Our research aims to improve the health and quality of life of children with diabetes and endocrine disorders and to prevent childhood obesity and its consequences.
- David Allen, MD; Tracy Bekx, MD; Aaron Carrel, MD; and Ellen Connor, MD, were named “Top Doctors” by Madison Magazine.
- David Allen, MD, received “10 consecutive years” recognition by both America’s Top Doctors and Best Doctors in America.
- Aaron Carrel, MD, was among the first recipients of the UW Health Patient Experience Physician Champion Award, which recognizes physicians who have achieved exemplary communication skills in the 2011 Avatar patient satisfaction survey.
- Fellows Jennifer Rehm, MD; Kim Richards, MD; and Peter Wolfgram, MD, each received Lawson Wilkins Pediatric Endocrine Society (PES) travel awards to support their travel costs to the PES annual meeting.
