Research

Our research aims to advance science that can be rapidly applied to the understanding, treatment and prevention of pediatric disease.

Specific interests include rhinovirus infection and childhood asthma interactions; improving diet and physical fitness in children; causes and consequences of iron deficiency in infancy; cystic fibrosis neonatal screening; and molecular pathogenesis of blastomycosis.
