Overview

The Division of Pediatric Cardiology’s ultimate goal is to improve the cardiovascular health of children. Our coordinated team approach to care relies on contributions from—and clear communication with—pediatric specialty physicians, nurses, technicians, patients, families, and referring physicians.

We participate in several hospital-based multidisciplinary clinics, staff an extensive network of outreach clinics, and interpret echocardiograms from hospitals in the outreach network.

Special interests include cardiac imaging (including magnetic resonance imaging and fetal echocardiography), exercise physiology, interventional catheterization, and adult congenital heart disease.

We also provide outstanding education to medical students, residents, and clinicians throughout Wisconsin and surrounding areas.

Our research investigates how the developing heart responds energetically to the stress of congenital heart disease or other contractile abnormalities.
