Administration & Staff Employment Opportunities

UW School of Medicine and Public Health offers educators and researchers access to all of the benefits of a preeminent public research university. In addition, the school has strong partnerships with the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, whose programs are consistently ranked among the best in the nation; and the University of Wisconsin Medical Foundation, one of the 10 largest physician practice groups in the country. These relationships afford faculty and researchers opportunities available only at top ranked academic medical centers.

The University is known for a beautiful lakeside setting. In fact, the city of Madison (pop. 240,000) sits on an isthmus between two lakes and has for decades been featured in the national media as being among the nation’s best cities.

The Department of Pediatrics is comprised of over 140 faculty, with the Pediatrics Specialty clinic located in the new 60-bed American Family Children’s Hospital. AFCH opened in August 2007, is the only facility in Madison exclusively devoted to the care and treatment of children. It receives tertiary referrals from throughout the state where pediatricians from every subspecialty practice.

Unless confidentiality is requested in writing, information regarding the applicants must be released upon request. Finalists cannot be guaranteed confidentiality. The University of Wisconsin is an equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer. Women and members of minority groups are encouraged to apply. Wisconsin Caregiver Law applies.
