Administrative Supervisor

The Department of Pediatrics is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Administrative Supervisor to provide direct support to divisional faculty and staff. This position will be responsible for the coordination of complex clinical, academic, and administrative functions, as well as the coordination and organization of the faculty’s communications, meeting planning, and both domestic and international travel. Apply by March 27th.

Financial Specialist III – Department of Pediatrics

The Department of Pediatrics is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Specialist III to analyze, process, and audit a variety of department financial transactions. Some examples include auditing of travel and expense reimbursements for the Department, all purchasing card transactions, and ShopUW+ requests. The Financial Specialist III will interact with all employee types in the department to assist with purchases and to ensure that travel expenses are compliant. This position will work with a diverse set of funding sources and evolving set of rules, regulations, and business practices imposed by the University, UWMF, and department policies. The current team consists of two Financial Specialist III positions, an Accountant III and a Financial Analyst II, who all report to the Finance Associate Director. Apply by March 29th.

The Department of Pediatrics is seeking a Medical Program Assistant to provide direct support to divisional faculty and staff. The primary focus of Dr. Seroogy’s lab involves translational research with infants that are protected from developing allergic disease secondary to unique, but poorly defined, environmental exposures. The Research Specialist will be responsible for: overall project management of study data, protocol implementation, and biospecimen tracking, flow cytometry of immune cells, DNA and RNA isolation and use in quantitative methods, development of new protocols, maintenance of standard laboratory equipment and reagents, computational analysis of complex data sets, and assistance with manuscript writing and preparation of data for presentation. Research Administrative Specialist

The Department of Pediatrics is seeking a Research Administration Specialist to join our friendly, supportive and dynamic team and provide grants administration support to faculty, researchers and trainee investigators in the Department. This position serves as the primary point of contact managing the sponsored projects funding portfolios for a group of Department of Pediatrics (DOP) investigators and staff. Responsibilities include working with principal investigators and research staff to assist in the creation of budgets and nontechnical proposal documents; prepare, route, and submit funding proposals to sponsors; assist with preparation and submission of reports to sponsors; and serve as a resource on policies, procedures, and regulations. Research Coordinator – Pediatric Hematology-Oncology

The Department of Pediatrics is seeking a Research Coordinator to support the research activities in the division of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology. The goal of the ongoing and planned research is to help move childhood cancer research from the lab to the clinic “farther and faster”. This position will support multiple administrative, regulatory, financial, and coordinating efforts. This position will be responsible for organization, efficiency, tracking, and facilitation of the many administrative and collaborative needs of the faculty and researchers in this program, team, and their collaborative colleagues.
